In summary
- Galaxy S25 FE appears on Portuguese retailer
- Confirms much of what we’d heard
- September launch looking likely
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE has been listed early by a European retailer, hinting that a launch is imminent for Samsung’s next affordable flagship smartphone.
It’s no secret that Samsung is planning the launch of a new Fan Edition phone. Indeed, Samsung itself confirmed that the Galaxy S25 FE would be arriving a little earlier than usual.
We’ve also seen numerous leaks over the past few months. None of these quite compare to the full blown listing (since removed) that appeared on Portuguese retailer MediaMarkt.
Samsung Galaxy S25 FE dimensions and specs
While we don’t get any pricing details from this retail listing, it does offer some helpful specifications for Samsung’s forthcoming Fan Edition phone.
With dimensions of 161.3 x 76.6 x 7.4mm and a weight of 190g, it’s going to be a fair bit slimmer and lighter than its predecessor.

We also get confirmation that it’ll feature a 6.7-inch 1080 x 2340 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, much like the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE before it, with the same Gorilla Glass Victus+ cover material. The provision of an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor sounds like an upgrade, though.
Also confirmed is the somewhat unfortunate fact that the Exynos 2400 will be powering the show – a very minor upgrade from the S24 FE’s Exynos 2400e chip. The listing also highlights that there’ll be 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Samsung Galaxy S25 FE camera and battery
Things are also familiar on the camera front, with a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide, and an 8MP 3x telephoto.
It seems the Galaxy S25 FE will run on a 4,900 mAh battery, up from 4700 mAh in the Galaxy S24 FE. There’s support for 45W (up from 25W) wired and 15W wireless charging.
Given that the Galaxy S24 FE launched in October, and were expecting the Galaxy S25 FE early, we’re figuring that we’ll see an announced some time over the next couple of weeks with a likely September release.
