Fresh details about Samsung’s upcoming budget tablets, the Galaxy Tab A11 and A11+, have surfaced online, revealing a significant focus on software support.

The leaked “official renders” of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 showcase a design resembling the previous Galaxy Tab A9, now available in Grey and Silver color options. The tablets feature a single camera module and a sleek flat-edged look.

The key specifications have also been confirmed for both devices. The Galaxy Tab A11+ will be larger and heavier compared to the Tab A11, but it will also be thinner. Both tablets will come with an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Galaxy Tab A11+ will sport an 11-inch LCD display, while the Tab A11 will feature an 8.7-inch equivalent, both offering a 90Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the Tab A11+ will include four speakers surrounding the display, unlike the Tab A11, which will have two speakers.

Leaked marketing materials suggest that both tablets will receive an impressive seven years of software support, a rare offering for budget-friendly devices.

Insight into Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 Battery, Performance, and Cameras

The Galaxy Tab A11+ boasts a 7,040mAh battery with 25W charging, while the Tab A11 features a 5,100mAh battery with 15W charging.

There’s a distinction in the processors as well, with the Tab A11+ running on a 4nm MediaTek MT8167 chip, and the Tab A11 using a 6nm MediaTek Helio G99.

Memory options vary between the two models, with the A11+ offering 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage, and the A11 providing 4GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. Both models support up to 2TB of expanded memory via a microSD slot.

Both tablets come equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.

Following the accidental listing of these tablets on Samsung’s UAE business website, an official launch is expected shortly.
