Downgrade: Samsung Galaxy S23 Camera Quality Plummets with One UI 7 Update

Recent reports suggest that Samsung’s One UI 7 update has had a negative impact on the camera performance of the Galaxy S23 series. Users of the Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy S23 FE have been expressing dissatisfaction with the quality of photos taken after the update.

Issues reported include blurry and washed-out images with a lack of vibrant colors, regardless of the shooting conditions. Users have experienced softness in both distant and close-up shots, making the overall camera experience less than satisfactory.

In addition to the camera quality, some users have also noticed laggy behavior in Samsung’s Camera app, along with delays when switching between modes and cameras. Attempts to troubleshoot the issues, such as clearing the camera cache or resetting settings, have not yielded positive results.

While Samsung has not addressed these specific camera concerns directly, affected users are advised to submit error reports and await a potential fix in the next update. Stay tuned for updates on this ongoing issue.
