Exciting News: Gemini Upgrade Now Available on More Google TV Devices
SHARE
Gemini, the advanced voice assistant from Google, has made a surprise appearance on Sony Bravia TVs, despite not being on Google’s official list of supported devices. The update, which enhances voice command capabilities and offers personalization options, was discovered by a Bravia TV owner after updating the Google TV Home app. This unexpected development hints at a potential wider rollout of Gemini in the near future, marking a significant step towards a more integrated smart home experience for users.

The Gemini upgrade is designed to improve voice search functionality on TVs, allowing users to not only search for content but also ask questions on various topics, such as daily news updates. Additionally, users can choose from a selection of 10 different voice options, each named after flowers, to personalize their assistant’s voice. This move by Google aims to streamline the user experience across its range of smart home devices.

The arrival of Gemini on Sony Bravia TVs is a promising sign for the future of voice assistants in the home entertainment space, as it suggests a broader rollout may be on the horizon. Keep an eye out for updates on Gemini’s availability on other devices in the coming months.
