Specifications for the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion have been leaked, hinting at a more affordable option compared to the highly awaited Motorola Signature.
We’ve already seen the Motorola Edge 70 and heard a lot about the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra, now known as the Motorola Signature. It’s time for the entry-level model in the series, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, to make an appearance.
Renowned tipster Evan Blass, also known as @evleaks, has revealed a set of specifications for the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, reportedly codenamed ‘Avenger’.
Blass suggests that this mid-range smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, previously seen in the Nothing Phone (3a) and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G. It is expected to come with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Confirming its affordability, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is likely to follow the pricing of its predecessor, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, which launched at £299.99.
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion display and design
The display of the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion seems to be a notable improvement. If the leaks are accurate, it will feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 5200 nits, HDR10+ support, and a higher 144Hz refresh rate.
Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, the display will have curved edges. The device is expected to come in five colors, including Orient Blue, Sporting Green, Blue Surf, Country Air, and Silhouette, featuring Motorola’s unique nylon and linen-inspired rear material.
In terms of design, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is likely to have impressive certifications for durability, such as MIL-STD-810H, IP68, and IP69.

Motorola Edge 70 camera, battery and software
Details about the main camera reveal the use of a 50Mp Sony Lytia sensor, accompanied by a 32Mp front camera.
The device is expected to house a substantial 7,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.
One slightly concerning aspect is the promise of only three major OS upgrades, similar to the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, which might lag behind competitors in this segment of the market.
Given that the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion was launched in early April 2025, an official announcement for its successor is likely to be made in the coming months.
