Google is set to unveil its latest Pixel 10 smartphone lineup on August 20, slightly later than originally anticipated. Android Headlines initially reported that the announcement would happen on August 13, but it has now been pushed back a week to the new date. Pre-orders for the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold will start on the same day as the launch, with availability scheduled for August 28.

The design of the Pixel 10 is already well-known, with no major surprises expected in this regard. Google is sticking with a similar look and feel to its previous models, following the design overhaul seen in the Pixel 9. Recent images of a purported Pixel 10 Pro prototype further confirm this design continuity.

Shared by tipster Mystic Leaks on a Chinese social media platform, these images showcase a device that closely resembles the Google Pixel 10 Pro, albeit with a slightly smaller camera bezel and a relocated SIM tray. Notably, the prototype is powered by a new Tensor G5 chip, codenamed ‘Blazer’.

While the chip is listed as 5nm in the leaked information, there is speculation that the Tensor G5 may actually utilize a more advanced 3nm process. Additionally, details reveal that the Pixel 10 Pro will boast 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage capacity, aligning with its predecessor’s specifications.
