What we thought of the original Huawei Mate XT
We had the opportunity to test out the original Huawei Mate XT earlier this year and were impressed by its top-notch hardware combined with some software limitations.
The innovative three-part internal screen provides a unique portable tablet experience, setting it apart from other foldable devices on the market.
The camera quality on the Huawei Mate XT also stood out, offering impressive performance for a foldable phone.
However, the device’s lack of access to Google Play Store and Google services due to Western sanctions remains a significant drawback, impacting app availability.
We are eager to see how Huawei will enhance the foldable format with the Mate XTs, as they continue to push boundaries in the tech industry. The competition, including Samsung’s rumored Galaxy Z TriFold, is also expected to make waves in the foldable phone market.
