Exciting new details have surfaced regarding the camera setup of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A37, hinting at a significant upgrade in store for users. Leaked software findings by SmartPrix indicate that the successor to the Samsung Galaxy A36 5G is set to bring some major improvements to the mid-range smartphone segment.
Rumors suggest that the Samsung Galaxy A37 will feature a brand new 50Mp 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX906 main camera sensor, a notable upgrade from the Galaxy A36’s current camera setup. This larger sensor is expected to capture more light, resulting in enhanced detail and better performance in low-light conditions.
Aside from the main camera upgrade, the Samsung Galaxy A37 is rumored to sport an 8Mp ultra-wide lens, a 5Mp macro camera, and a 12Mp selfie shooter, completing the photography package.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A57 is also set to receive a camera boost, with reports suggesting it will share the same 50Mp 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX906 main camera sensor with the Galaxy A37. Some regions may receive the 50Mp ISOCELL GNJ sensor instead, providing a similar imaging experience.
One key difference between the two models could be the inclusion of a superior 13Mp ISOCELL S5K3L6 ultra-wide camera in the Samsung Galaxy A57, offering enhanced wide-angle capabilities.
While the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G featured a similar main sensor to the Galaxy A57, it seems that the Samsung Galaxy A37 is gearing up to be the standout mid-range smartphone of 2026. An official announcement is expected in February or March, giving eager consumers something to look forward to.
