Cyata Emerges from Stealth Mode with $8.5M in Seed Funding

Cyata, a Tel Aviv-based company, has recently made its debut from stealth mode with a substantial $8.5 million in seed funding. This funding round was spearheaded by TLV Partners, a prominent venture capital firm, and saw the participation of notable angel investors, including former CEOs of Cellebrite, Ron Serber and Yossi Carmil.

    Control Plane for Agentic Identities

At the core of Cyata’s offering is a control plane for agentic identities, providing comprehensive visibility and identity control for AI copilots, chatbots, and task-driven agents. Led by CEO Shahar Tal, VP R&D Dror Roth, and CTO Baruch Weizman, Cyata’s platform boasts three integrated capabilities:

    • Automated discovery: Continuously scans desktop and SaaS environments to identify AI identities, assess their risk, and map them to their human owners and privileges.
    • Forensic observability: Generates detailed audit trails of agentic AI activity, allowing for real-time justification of reasoning.
    • Granular access control: Enforces permissions just-in-time while requiring human-in-the-loop approvals for sensitive operations.

With these capabilities, Cyata aims to revolutionize the way organizations manage and control their AI-driven agents, ensuring transparency and security in their operations.

Stay tuned for more updates from Cyata as they continue to make waves in the agentic identity space.
