Expansion of Crusoe Cloud’s Capacity at ICE02 Data Centre in Iceland
AtNorth, a leading Nordic data centre provider, has announced a significant expansion of Crusoe Cloud’s capacity at its ICE02 data centre in Iceland. This collaboration with Crusoe, an AI infrastructure provider, aims to meet the increasing demand for Crusoe Cloud services in Europe and North America.
Enhanced Infrastructure and Sustainability
The partnership, which was first revealed in December 2023, initially planned for 33MW of capacity at ICE02. The recent collaboration adds an additional 24MW, solidifying Crusoe’s European presence. ICE02 already features low-latency networks and multiple undersea fibre optic cables, ensuring reliable connectivity.
The expansion also includes the integration of cutting-edge infrastructure such as NVIDIA GPUs, positioning ICE02 as a leader in AI technology. Powered by renewable energy sources and using advanced cooling technology, ICE02 emphasizes sustainability in its operations.
