CSH Scaling Up Export Business with New Funding
CSH, a developer of liquid cooling systems for data centers based in Sheffield, is expanding its export business with the help of a recent funding boost.
The company secured a £250,000 trade finance facility from Dynamic Funding, facilitated by a referral from UK Export Finance (UKEF). This funding has allowed CSH to process £1.5 million worth of orders between April and May 2025 and hire 11 new employees by the end of the year.
Founded in 2016, CSH transitioned from general HVAC to modular liquid-cooling technology, meeting the growing demand for secondary fluid networks as AI data centers expand globally. The majority of the company’s orders come from overseas, with recent growth extending its reach to multinational technology clients in Asia and the Middle East.
Support for Growth in AI Infrastructure
With the rise of AI technology impacting various industries, UKEF’s regional representative for South and East Yorkshire, Manuel Fantin, expressed support for CSH’s role in developing essential AI infrastructure worldwide. The collaboration with Dynamic Funding has provided the necessary financial support for CSH to sustain its growth and innovation efforts.
Colin Hume, Director at CSH, acknowledged the challenges of scaling up to meet increasing demand in the AI sector. The financing and guidance from UKEF and Dynamic Funding have positioned CSH for further expansion and success in the global market.
Future Expansion Plans
Looking ahead, CSH plans to expand its operations in Sheffield and nearly double its workforce in the coming year to cater to the rising demand for AI-related cooling solutions. The company is poised for continued growth and innovation as it serves a diverse range of international clients in the technology sector.
