In a strategic move to enhance its data center interconnect network in Singapore, Telin, a subsidiary of Telekomunikasi Indonesia International, has selected Nokia for the project. Nokia’s optical transport technology, specifically the 1830 GX compact modular platform and open optical line system, will be utilized for the deployment. By incorporating pluggable coherent optics, the network will offer scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient connections between key data centers in Singapore. The upgraded infrastructure aims to provide comprehensive coverage across the island and deliver top-notch services with minimal latency for businesses and hyperscalers in the region.
CEO of Telin Singapore, Indarto Nata, views this upgrade as both a modernization effort and an investment in future growth.
