Moreover, the integration of gesture interaction could enhance security measures, providing an additional layer of protection for users during transactions. The researchers estimated that implementing these upgrades in payment terminals would incur minimal costs, approximately $20 per terminal. This affordability, coupled with the potential for widespread adoption due to the existing computing power in many terminals, makes this innovation a viable and cost-effective solution for enhancing transaction experiences.
