Code.org CEO Hadi Partovi criticized The New York Times for its recent article discussing the challenges some computer science graduates face in finding employment in the U.S. In a LinkedIn post, Partovi accused the newspaper of cherry-picking stories to fuel fears about tech companies and AI, emphasizing that computer science and AI remain lucrative fields of study. He argued against the notion that AI will make learning computer science obsolete, highlighting the increasing value and demand for the field over time. Code.org co-founder and CEO Hadi Partovi criticized The New York Times for its recent report on the challenges faced by some computer science majors in the job market.
