Nanosecond precise time synchronization is essential for industries like global trade, stock exchanges, mobile communications, and navigation. HUBER+SUHNER’s SYNCRO solution revolutionizes data center operations by integrating optical timing into existing fiber architectures, enhancing performance while reducing costs for a more efficient solution.

The SYNCRO family presents a sophisticated modular timing and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) distribution portfolio, designed for quick deployment and reliability. By extending transmission distances and minimizing the need for multiple GNSS antennas, SYNCRO overcomes the limitations of coaxial cabling.

GNSS serves as a crucial reference time source for modern networks, offering nanosecond-level synchronization through satellite-originating signals from atomic clocks. SYNCRO builds on previous GNSS and Power-over-Fiber (PoF) technologies to provide secure and precise timing synchronization via fiber, eliminating the need for separate electrical wiring.
