The technology-filled halls were buzzing with excitement as humans and robots came together to celebrate at the 2025 GeekWire Gala held at Showbox SoDo in Seattle. Over 750 members of the tech community gathered for a night of games, karaoke, dancing, and networking at this annual holiday extravaganza.

The geeky event, sponsored by First Tech Federal Credit Union, featured a variety of activities to entertain the guests. From a Selfiebot capturing images of attendees to Portraitbots creating quick caricatures, there was no shortage of fun experiences for everyone.

  • Robots raced at one station while a robot photo booth captured memorable moments for guests.
  • Guests enjoyed treats like espresso martini printer, specially printed macaroon cookies, a candy bar, and a walking oyster bar.
  • The highlight of the evening was the recognition of the region’s “Uncommon Thinkers,” including innovators from Lila Biologics, Tin Can, Aquagga, Portal Space Systems, Vercept, and Bluesky.

Special thanks to gold sponsors Greater Seattle Partners, Pilot, and Astound Business Solutions, along with silver sponsors MeeBoss, Tito’s, The Baldwin Group, Wilson Sonsini, ALLtech, IDA Ireland, Microsoft for Startups, gone.com, Prime Team Partners, and Regence.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a memorable evening at the 2025 GeekWire Gala. Wishing you all happy holidays!
