Palo Alto Networks has recently integrated Prisma AIRS with NVIDIA BlueField DPU and joined the NVIDIA Enterprise AI Factory partner validation program. This integration enhances the security of AI infrastructure by incorporating zero trust principles without compromising performance.

Palo Alto Networks has announced the integration of Prisma AIRS with NVIDIA BlueField DPU and their participation in the NVIDIA Enterprise AI Factory validation program.

This solution incorporates zero trust security into the architecture and operation of AI infrastructure, ensuring robust protection without compromising AI performance.

“The AI Factory is the new engine for value creation, and securing it is a board-level imperative,” says Rich Campagna, SVP product management at Palo Alto Networks. “The validation of Palo Alto Networks Prisma AIRS accelerated with NVIDIA BlueField within the NVIDIA Enterprise AI Factory enables a new security architecture for the AI era. We are embedding trust directly into the infrastructure, giving leaders the confidence to safeguard their proprietary intelligence and deploy AI bravely.”

Security processing is offloaded to a dedicated domain with NVIDIA DOCA, improving efficiency and maintaining security policy at line speed.

Prisma AIRS collaborates with Cortex XSIAM and XSOAR for AI-based actions and real-time workload tracking.

The centralized Hyperscale Security Firewall (HSF) cluster, in addition to the distributed model, enhances advanced threat detection and defense-in-depth.

The architecture optimizes AI infrastructure Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by dedicating host resources solely for running AI applications, ensuring high efficiency and scalability.

Its feature-proof design supports NVIDIA BlueField-4 for increased compute power and greater bandwidth, facilitating future scalability.

This partnership secures sensitive information, safeguards AI models from threats, and establishes a secure foundation for AI innovation and market leadership.

In early 2025, Palo Alto Networks introduced an AI-powered zero trust solution to enhance security in 5G networks.
