Driving Finland towards a sustainable data future with Antti Poikola

Antti “Jogi” Poikola has assumed the role of Managing Director at the Finnish Data Center Association (FDCA) starting February 2, 2026. The data center industry in Finland is on the rise, and Poikola will be responsible for overseeing the association’s daily activities, collaborating with stakeholders, and coordinating efforts with the Board and member companies. With over 200 member companies, FDCA represents various entities in the data center sector, including operators, service providers, construction and maintenance firms, consulting companies, and other stakeholders. Poikola’s background in information and technology policy, public affairs communications, and establishing national and European networks will be beneficial in his new position. He previously held the role of Lead Expert in the data economy at Technology Industries of Finland. Poikola aims to capitalize on Finland’s reputation as a hub for sustainable data centers and foster a robust ecosystem around data center investments.

The Finnish Data Center Association (FDCA) has appointed Antti “Jogi” Poikola as its new Managing Director, effective February 2, 2026. Poikola will be responsible for overseeing the association’s day-to-day operations, collaborating with stakeholders, and coordinating activities with the Board and member companies. With over 200 member companies, FDCA represents a wide range of entities in the data center sector, including operators, service providers, construction and maintenance firms, consulting companies, and other stakeholders. Poikola’s expertise in information and technology policy, public affairs communications, and establishing national and European networks will be valuable in his new role. He previously served as Lead Expert in the data economy at Technology Industries of Finland. Poikola aims to leverage Finland’s reputation as a country of sustainable data centers and build a strong Finnish ecosystem around data center investments.
