Details regarding the European release of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra have surfaced online, revealing key information about pricing and battery capacity.
Insider MysteryLupin has disclosed essential details about the upcoming global launch of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, expected to coincide with the release of the entire Xiaomi 17 series in the coming month.
According to the leak, the new ultra-premium smartphone model will hit the European market with a starting price of €1,499, offering 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Although some may deem this price as “expensive,” it is in line with the launch price of the equivalent Xiaomi 15 Ultra model from early 2025, offering a competitive option for European consumers.
As Xiaomi President Lu Weibing hinted at potential price increases in the smartphone market for 2026, the stability in pricing could be seen as a positive development.
Additionally, the leak reveals that the European variant of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will feature a 6,000mAh battery, slightly smaller than the 6,800mAh battery in the Chinese model.
Despite the slight reduction in battery capacity compared to the Chinese version, the European model still represents a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which had a 5,410mAh battery.
The color options of white, black, and green for the European model suggest that the purple variant may remain exclusive to the Chinese market, catering to different regional preferences.
Whether the design of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is a step forward is subjective, leaving room for personal interpretation and preference among consumers.
