Charlotte Mullins, Strategic Programme Manager for NHS Herts and West Essex, acknowledges the significance of such strategic modeling in shaping the future of healthcare service delivery.

Funded by the University of Hertfordshire Integrated Care System partnership, the AI model is currently undergoing testing in hospital settings. The roadmap includes expanding its application to community services and care homes, aligning with the evolving structural changes in the region. As the project progresses, incorporating data from a wider population base will enhance the model’s predictive accuracy, ultimately driving cost efficiencies and improving resource allocation within the healthcare system.
