ChipStack’s CEO and co-founder, Kartik Hegde, holds a PhD in computer science from the University of Illinois and previously interned at Meta and NVIDIA. He co-founded ChipStack alongside CTO Hamid Shojaei, who boasts experience at Lightmatter, Google, and Qualcomm. Hegde expressed excitement about the acquisition on LinkedIn, emphasizing the opportunity to expand the product’s reach and enhance its feature set through joining Cadence.
Jacob Colker, managing director at AI2 Incubator, lauded ChipStack’s founders as elite AI talents driving innovation in the field.
