Article:

Lyntia Networks, a rapidly growing neutral wholesale telecom operator, is making significant strides in modernizing its operational support systems (OSS) by leveraging Oracle’s cutting-edge cloud-native communications technology. This strategic move is geared towards streamlining service orchestration processes and accelerating time-to-market capabilities as Lyntia continues to expand its network footprint and range of services throughout Europe.

Operating primarily in Spain and Portugal, with a strong presence in France, Germany, and the UK, Lyntia Networks specializes in providing wholesale connectivity services such as dark fiber, cloud connect, colocation, and VPN to a diverse clientele including national and international carriers, hyperscalers, utility firms, and data center providers. To meet the demands of its growing service portfolio and expedite deployment timelines, Lyntia has opted for Oracle’s Unified Operations solutions suite, which adheres to TM Forum standards.

At the heart of this transformative journey lies Oracle Communications Order and Service Management (OSM), a scalable orchestration engine that now serves as the cornerstone of Lyntia’s OSS architecture. By automating workflows related to service activation and configuration, Lyntia can now efficiently and reliably deliver a wide array of services, including Ethernet Line (E-Line), multipoint, and tailored enterprise solutions.

Marta Ruperez Yague, IT Director at Lyntia Networks, emphasized the importance of selecting a proven, scalable solution with OSS automation expertise to drive growth objectives and enhance time-to-revenue metrics. Through close collaboration with Oracle and integration partner Optare Solutions, key operational processes have been automated, paving the way for a seamless transition towards autonomous network operations.

The deployment also incorporates Oracle Communications ASAP (Activation Service and Provisioning), which enhances service activation across both legacy and next-gen interfaces. Lyntia’s upcoming plans include rolling out Oracle Unified Assurance, a real-time network and service assurance platform designed to deliver intelligent fault detection, root cause analysis, and automated remediation – tightly integrated with OSM for comprehensive operational visibility and control.

The implementation marks a significant milestone in Lyntia’s digital transformation journey as it evolves into a more agile, software-defined connectivity provider. Andrew Morawski, EVP and GM of Oracle Communications, commended the strategic role played by long-term Oracle partner Optare Solutions in achieving this remarkable feat.

“Lyntia exemplifies how modern telecom operators are leveraging automation and cloud-native OSS to scale rapidly and stay competitive,” said Mr. Morawski. The collaboration with Optare has been instrumental in translating Lyntia’s vision of automated service delivery into a tangible reality.

Optare Solutions, a proud member of the Oracle Partner Network with specialized expertise in telecom OSS deployments, served as the system integrator for this project. Luis Alves, General Manager at Optare, highlighted the importance of aligning technical implementation with Lyntia’s business goals, showcasing the strength of their collaboration through the speed and success of the deployment.
