Centauri Health Solutions has recently completed the acquisition of MedAllies, a New York-based health information service provider (HISP) and qualified health information network (QHIN) company, based in Phoenix, AZ.
The specific financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed to the public.
This strategic acquisition is set to enhance Centauri’s existing portfolio of solutions by incorporating integration, messaging, and record location services. These enhancements aim to improve patient access to care and financial support, particularly for those in underserved communities.
MedAllies, under the leadership of CEO Dr. John Blair, currently serves a wide network of over 1,000 hospitals/health systems, 5,000 ambulatory organizations, and 125,000 healthcare providers. The company specializes in facilitating the secure transmission of critical health information across national networks.
On the other hand, Centauri Health Solutions, led by CEO Mike McNelis, provides technology-enabled solutions to health systems and health plans across various healthcare programs such as medicare, medicaid, commercial, and exchange. Through collaborative efforts with clients, the company aims to enhance patient outcomes and improve overall health by leveraging outreach, analytics, and clinical data delivery.
The successful completion of this acquisition was made possible with the support of Centauri’s lead investor, Abry Partners, in addition to Silversmith Capital Partners and SV Health Investors.
