NTT DATA has entered into a multi-year strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) in order to accelerate client transformation to the cloud and boost clients’ adoption of the AI that is being empowered by AWS.
Specifically, the partnership centers on: AI-driven cloud transformation; industry-specific cloud solutions; AI and data innovation for managed services, as well as; regulated cloud offerings in Europe.
NTT DATA will utilize AWS services to overhaul legacy systems, establish secure cloud platforms, and offer industry-specific solutions in sectors like financial services, healthcare, public sector, and manufacturing.

The alliance will focus on developing industry-specific AI technologies through NTT DATA’s Industry Cloud tailored to each business vertical’s requirements.
NTT DATA has established an AWS business group comprising nearly 11,000 certified professionals, with plans to certify an additional 10,000 in the next three years.
The collaboration aims to help European enterprises adhere to regulatory standards like the AWS European sovereign cloud, facilitating a smooth transition to secure, compliant cloud services.
Success stories like Honda Trading Asia’s migration to the AWS Cloud demonstrate how the partnership transforms existing systems and unlocks AI insights.
Additionally, NTT DATA seeks to expand its Smart AI Agent ecosystem to deploy and manage responsible AI solutions on a broader scale for enterprise use.
