US-only additions

While the landmark-based navigation feature is now available in the US, users outside the country will have to rely on traditional directions.

US Android users can now receive proactive traffic alerts, notifying them of disruptions along their route even without active navigation.

Additionally, Gemini AI enhances the user experience by providing detailed information on destinations, such as popular dishes at restaurants, but this feature is currently limited to the US.

Lens integration allows users to explore locations through their phone’s camera, interacting with Google’s assistant for more information. This feature will soon be accessible to both Android and iOS users, albeit restricted to the US.

Google continues to expand the reach of its Gemini AI assistant, integrating it into various services and devices like Nest speakers and cameras.
