DC BLOX Names Greg Carender as Chief Operating Officer
DC BLOX, a leading provider of digital infrastructure in the Southeastern United States, has appointed Greg Carender as its new Chief Operating Officer, while Mark Masi will take on the role of Chief Development Officer. Carender brings a wealth of international experience in hyperscale data center construction, operations, and green energy infrastructure to support DC BLOX’s mission of delivering top-quality digital infrastructure solutions across the Southeast.
Before joining DC BLOX, Carender served as the COO of AdaniConneX, a joint venture between the Adani Group and EdgeConneX. During his tenure, Carender managed a team of over 300 experts in engineering, construction, safety, procurement, and operations, overseeing the development and management of hundreds of megawatts of data center capacity in India. Under his leadership, AdaniConneX became a key player in India’s digital infrastructure and renewable energy sector, boasting over 25 gigawatts of green energy capacity.

With 20 years of experience in construction management, consultancy, and development, Carender has a proven track record of scaling mission-critical infrastructure globally. Prior to joining AdaniConneX, he oversaw large capital projects for PwC and played a key role in the expansion of hyperscale data centers across multiple continents while working at EdgeConneX.
