Mission Critical Group Expands Manufacturing Capacity with Acquisition of DVMConclusion

With a significant increase in production space totaling 350,000 square feet across Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Connecticut, Mission Critical Group (MCG) has expanded its manufacturing footprint to over one million square feet. The recent acquisition of DVM not only enhances MCG’s field services but also drives innovation and strengthens technical expertise, thanks to DVM’s skilled workforce. This strategic move aims to provide customers with a wider range of solutions and stronger support.

DVM’s Specialization and Expertise

DVM is known for its design and production of low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution equipment, which includes switchboards, switchgear, relay panels, power distribution units (PDUs), bypasses, power/cooling module “skid” manufacturing, and control systems. The company’s Naugatuck, CT facility is particularly focused on retrofits, breaker rebuilds, and switchgear modernization, further enhancing MCG’s service offerings in the power solutions sector.

Leadership Insights

Jeff Drees, CEO of Mission Critical Group, emphasized the significance of DVM’s expertise in advancing MCG’s manufacturing and aftermarket services, leading to increased growth and customer satisfaction. The partnership between the two companies is built on a shared commitment to innovation, excellence, and customer value. Robert Ricci, CEO of DVM Power + Control, highlighted the collaborative nature of the partnership, expressing confidence in MCG’s industry knowledge and strategic expertise.

Future Prospects

As part of the acquisition, DVM will now operate as a Mission Critical Group Company alongside JTS and Point Eight Power, contributing to MCG’s leadership in electrical system solutions. With Robert Ricci continuing to lead DVM as its President, the company’s focus on low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment manufacturing remains unchanged. This latest addition marks a significant milestone in MCG’s growth trajectory, underlining its commitment to innovation and excellence in mission critical solutions.
