Motorola recently unveiled its newest additions to the foldable phone lineup, the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra. Building on the success of the Razr 50 Ultra from 2024, these new models promise enhanced features and improved performance.
In terms of design and build, both the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra sport redesigned titanium-reinforced hinges for increased durability. They are also IP48 dust and water resistant, offering improved protection. The Ultra model comes in four special finishes, including Alcantara, real wood, luxe satin, and faux leather, while the Razr 60 offers options like faux leather, nylon-inspired finish, or lightweight Acetate.
The display is a key highlight of these phones, with the Razr 60 Ultra featuring a 7-inch pOLED display, slightly larger than the Razr 60’s 6.9-inch panel. The Ultra’s display is Pantone Validated and offers a Super HD resolution with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. On the other hand, the Razr 60 boasts an FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
In terms of cameras, the Razr 60 Ultra stands out with its triple 50MP camera system, including a 50MP selfie camera. The Razr 60, on the other hand, features a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide, and a 32MP selfie cam. Both models offer Pantone Validated and Pantone SkinTone Validated camera systems for vibrant colors.
Performance-wise, the Razr 60 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with 16GB of RAM, while the Razr 60 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X with 8GB of RAM. The Ultra model also offers more storage options compared to the Razr 60.
Both phones run on Android 15 and feature Moto AI for enhanced user experience. The Razr 60 Ultra comes with a dedicated AI Key for quick access to Moto AI features.
Battery and charging capabilities differ between the two models, with the Razr 60 Ultra offering a larger battery capacity and faster charging speeds compared to the Razr 60.
In terms of pricing and availability, the Razr 60 Ultra is priced higher than the Razr 60, with both models available for purchase starting at £1,099.99/€1,299 and €799 respectively.
