New Leadership Joins nLighten to Drive Expansion Across Europe

Hans Nipshagen has recently become a part of nLighten’s team, bringing with him more than twenty years of experience in enterprise sales, channel strategy, and regional leadership. Prior to his role at nLighten, Hans was the Regional Vice President, Channel Sales EMEA at Akamai Technologies. During his time at Akamai, he successfully restructured the EMEA channel sales organization to enhance scalability and alignment with the direct sales teams. Hans also played a key role in leading cybersecurity sales efforts in various regions and served as the Benelux Site Leader and statutory board member for Akamai’s Dutch and international operations.

Meet Arno van Gennip, nLighten’s Newest Addition

Arno van Gennip also recently joined nLighten in April, bringing a wealth of leadership experience in operations within critical infrastructure and sustainability. His most recent position was VP Global IBX Operations Engineering at Equinix, where he oversaw global operations engineering. Arno’s nine-year tenure at Equinix also involved leading strategic initiatives in operational environmental sustainability, facility operations, and engineering transformation. Prior to Equinix, Arno spent fifteen years at Colt Technology Services in various senior roles, focusing on the design, delivery, and technical infrastructure of data centers across Western Europe.

Harro Beusker, CEO and Co-Founder of nLighten, expressed his excitement about welcoming Hans and Arno to the leadership team. He emphasized the significance of their expertise in enhancing nLighten’s presence in Europe. Hans’s experience in building partner ecosystems in complex markets and Arno’s operational leadership and sustainability focus are seen as valuable assets as nLighten continues to grow responsibly. Both Hans and Arno are considered strategic hires that will strengthen nLighten’s capabilities and solidify its position as a leading data center platform in Europe.
