Digi Power X Announces Strategic Partnership for High-Performance Computing Data Center in Alabama
Digi Power X, a leading power infrastructure company specializing in high-performance computing (HPC) data centers, has revealed a new strategic collaboration. The company’s subsidiary, US Data Centers, is teaming up with Super Micro Computer to deploy customized B200 GPU rack solutions at Digi Power X’s latest data center in Alabama.
The initial phase of the project aims to achieve operational readiness within 120 days, with full test operations slated for the fourth quarter of 2025. This venture marks the start of a broader expansion strategy, as the facility plans to scale up to 22 megawatts (MW) of computing capacity in 2026 and further increase to 55MW by 2027.
Michel Amar, CEO of Digi Power X, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting its significance in advancing the company’s AI and high-performance computing infrastructure. Based in Miami, Florida, Digi Power X specializes in colocation services, energy sales, and bitcoin mining, focusing on creating data centers equipped to handle energy-intensive applications like AI and HPC through the integration of digital infrastructure and power.
