Aetina, a leading manufacturer of edge AI devices, has introduced the compact “Preview Kits” for NVIDIA Jetson Thor, designed specifically for advanced robotics and physical AI applications.
The Preview Kits are built around the NVIDIA Jetson T5000 modules, offering high-performance, real-time control, and low-latency multi-sensor fusion capabilities. These kits are ideal for industries like manufacturing, healthcare, and aerospace.
With 7.5 times the AI compute power compared to its predecessor, Jetson Orin, Jetson Thor boasts 3.5 times better energy efficiency within the same power envelope.
Richard Hung, the vice president of product division at Aetina, expressed excitement about being an early adopter of NVIDIA Jetson Thor. He emphasized the importance of the Preview Kits in accelerating the development of next-gen robotics and physical AI applications, enhancing agility and efficiency in AI deployment.
The Preview Kit features a rugged, open-top chassis for easy module exchange, sensor fusion, and thermal performance optimization for development and deployment purposes.
Jetson Thor is optimized to support advanced AI models, enabling applications in humanoid robotics, autonomous machines, medical systems, and more to benefit from enhanced intelligence and agility.
According to BCC Research, the global robotics market is projected to reach $165 billion by 2030, with significant growth expected in the physical AI and humanoid robotics sectors.
Aetina invites developers and partners to explore the Preview Kits immediately, with volume production scheduled for Q4 2025.
