Risa Labs Secures $3.5M in Funding for Oncology AI Solutions

Risa Labs, a leading oncology AI company based in Palo Alto, CA, has successfully raised $3.5 million in funding.
The funding round was spearheaded by Binny Bansal, co-founder of Flipkart, and saw participation from key investors such as Oncology Ventures, General Catalyst, z21 Ventures, ODD BIRD VC, and Ashish Gupta.
This financial boost will be instrumental in accelerating the deployment of Risa Labs’ cutting-edge solutions in the next 100 cancer centers nationwide over the next two years.
Co-founded by Kshitij Jaggi and Kumar Shivang, Risa Labs specializes in providing a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform powered by AI to streamline oncology care processes. Their innovative platform, known as BOSS, utilizes advanced technologies such as agentic AI, digital twins, and LLMs to break down complex workflows into manageable micro-tasks. These tasks are then assigned to a network of intelligent agents, including LLMs, digital twins, and reinforcement learners, seamlessly integrating with an institution’s existing software infrastructure. Through BOSS, Risa Labs creates a parallel digital workforce that operates in tandem with healthcare teams to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
