Seattle Real Estate Startup EDEN Secures $3.7 Million in Funding
Seattle-based real estate startup EDEN has recently announced a successful funding round of $3.7 million. The investment will be used to enhance the company’s software designed to support residential contractors in their business endeavors.
The funding round was led by Climactic, with participation from Better Ventures, C2 Ventures, and other investors.
Established in 2021, EDEN aims to make a mark in the vast U.S. home services market by providing HVAC contractors with tools to generate quick and personalized quotes. The software utilizes various data points such as home size, construction year, equipment compatibility, and local incentives to streamline the quoting process.
The primary goal is to create a more transparent purchasing experience for homeowners while also increasing sales opportunities for contractors.
Commenting on the investment, Josh Felser, co-founder, and managing partner at Climactic, stated, “Today’s HVAC and home services industry is evolving rapidly, yet the sales process has remained largely unchanged for years. We believe that there is a significant opportunity for EDEN to become the go-to customer conversion platform for all home contractors, regardless of their size.”
Heading the team at EDEN is CEO and founder Ben Phillips, a former engineer at Redfin, PushSpring, Ripl, and CTO at Waypoint Health Innovations.
With a total funding of $4.9 million, the 8-person company is poised for further growth and innovation in the real estate technology sector.
