Soluna Expands Texas Campus With 100 MW AI-Ready Data Center

Soluna Holdings, a company specializing in renewable energy-focused data center development for AI and bitcoin mining operations, has entered into a co-development agreement with Metrobloks to construct the next phase of its digital infrastructure campus in Texas. The initial phase of this partnership will involve the construction of a 100+ MW AI and high-performance compute (HPC) data center in Willacy County, with plans for further expansion to support over 300 MW of total capacity.

Soluna recently initiated the groundbreaking for Project Kati in September 2025. This ambitious venture encompasses a 166 MW wind-powered campus in Willacy County, designed to be developed in two distinct phases:
