The technical specifications of the E10 closely mirror those found in a leaked brochure that surfaced on Reddit back in May, even before Anker, Eufy’s parent company, had officially unveiled the display hub. This innovative device features an 8-inch HD touchscreen and a 4,050mAh battery that can provide over 24 hours of usage on a single charge. It comes complete with a charging station and a wall mount, offering the flexibility to be stationed around the house or moved from room to room. In terms of connectivity, the E10 supports both local area network (LAN) connections and dual-band Wi-Fi 6.
When coupled with the Homebase S380 data hub, the E10 can compile a daily event summary from cameras and security devices, presenting a “Sunrise Summary” in the morning and a “Twilight Recap” in the evening. These summaries leverage Eufy’s AI facial and package recognition technology alongside stitched video clips to recap activities such as package deliveries. Additionally, a live feed from a Eufy smart doorbell or door lock will automatically appear on the E10 when motion is detected or when the doorbell is pressed, displaying the visitor’s name if recognized.
The E10 is set to hit the shelves on Amazon and Eufy’s online store for $199.99 starting from June 30th, with presales commencing today. It’s worth noting that the E10 is only compatible with Eufy-manufactured cameras, doorbells, and smart home security devices, meaning users outside the Eufy ecosystem will need to seek alternative touchscreen display hubs.
Update, June 18th: Clarified that the E10 doesn’t support third-party smart home devices.
