Terra Security Raises $7.5M in Seed Funding for Agentic AI Penetration Testing Solution

Terra Security, a company based in NYC and Tel Aviv, Israel, has recently secured $7.5 million in seed funding for its innovative Agentic AI-native penetration testing service-as-software platform. This funding round was led by SYN Ventures and FXP Ventures, with additional support from Underscore VC and notable angel investors like former Google CISO Gerhard Eschelback, Ofer Ben-Noon, and Ohad Bobrov, founders of Talon Security.

The primary goal of this funding is to further enhance Terra Security’s platform, expand the capabilities of its AI agents, and increase its customer base. Founded in 2024 by Shahar Peled, CEO, and Gal Malachi, CTO, Terra Security offers a unique agentic-AI platform for continuous web application penetration testing. Utilizing AI agents, the platform conducts thousands of tests by launching tailor-made attacks based on individual business contexts and risk profiles. In the event of new vulnerabilities, these AI agents autonomously conduct precise tests under the guidance of human experts.

With a growing client base that includes Fortune 500 companies, Terra Security is already making waves in the cybersecurity industry. The company’s innovative approach to penetration testing sets it apart and has attracted significant interest from both investors and clients.
