Lantronix, a leading global provider of secure data access and management solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT), has announced that its TAA- and NDAA-compliant technology has been chosen by Teal Drones for implementation in the U.S. Army’s Short-Range Reconnaissance (SRR) Program on the Black Widow drone.

The solution incorporates the Qualcomm Dragonwing QRB5165 processor, offering state-of-the-art edge AI processing capabilities and is specifically designed to meet stringent U.S. security standards.

Summary: Lantronix, a global IoT solutions provider, has partnered with Teal Drones to equip the U.S. Army’s Black Widow drone with cutting-edge edge AI technology, ensuring compliance with strict security requirements.

Teal Drones has aligned their technology with Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity standards and Lantronix’s solutions, enabling operations in challenging environments. Lantronix’s presence in the defense and autonomous systems market is growing, with projections estimating a global market value of $57.8 billion by 2030.

Lantronix’s adaptable platform streamlines development and compliance processes for upcoming defense and industrial IoT initiatives, providing real-time intelligence benefits for frontline missions using Teal Drones’ Black Widow drones.
