Introducing the Latest Innovation from Vertiv: PowerIT Rack PDUs

Vertiv, a leader in critical digital infrastructure solutions, has recently launched the Vertiv™ PowerIT rack power distribution units (PDUs) to address the increasing power requirements of data-intensive applications like artificial intelligence and high-performance computing.

Key Features and Benefits

The new PowerIT rack PDUs offer advanced power management capabilities, flexible configurations, and upgraded internal components to enhance reliability. These units are designed to support power densities exceeding 25 kW per rack, making them ideal for data centers with growing IT demands.

Designed for Modern Data Centers

The Vertiv PowerIT rack PDU is engineered to meet the needs of modern data centers, utilizing three-phase power distribution across 208V Delta and 240/415V WYE configurations. This approach helps balance electrical loads, reduce circuit overload risks, stabilize voltage, and improve system reliability.

Enhanced Security and Support

These rack PDUs enable real-time energy management through monitored and switched models. The switched models offer remote outlet-level control, quick deployment modifications, and increased protection for critical IT infrastructure. Additionally, monitored versions feature Vertiv’s Secure Boot security protocol for enhanced security.

Customers can customize their PDUs with configure-to-order and engineered-to-order options, including outlet configurations, input options, and chassis colors. Each PDU comes with the Vertiv Distribution Assurance Package, providing seven-year coverage, round-the-clock emergency response, on-site and remote assistance to ensure data center reliability and uptime.
