Nothing OS 4.0 new features
Prior to the rollout, Nothing shared a post detailing the enhancements coming to Nothing phones.
The update promises a more seamless and intuitive design, including a cleaner Quick Settings menu, improved lock screen and always-on display responsiveness, and a variety of redesigned lock screen clocks.
The new Extra Dark Mode takes Nothing’s signature dark aesthetic a step further, offering increased contrast to save power, reduce eye strain, and enhance the overall visual appeal.
Additionally, an AI Usage Dashboard will provide users with insights into the background processes of Large Language Models (LLMs), a feature not found on the Google Pixel 10 Pro.
Another new feature, Pop-up View, allows users to multitask with two floating apps simultaneously by minimizing one app and expanding it with a swipe gesture.
Nothing also promises enhancements to the camera and gallery experience, although the impact of these improvements remains to be seen.
