SUNeVision Holdings, a leading data center provider in Hong Kong and the technology division of Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited, has introduced the third iteration of its Startup Programme. This initiative aims to support emerging innovators by offering digital infrastructure and collaborating with tech partners, underscoring SUNeVision’s commitment to enhancing Hong Kong’s technology landscape.

SUNeVision’s Startup Programme is designed to nurture startups at all stages by providing them with technological resources and mentorship. The focus of the programme is on exploring and refining AI technologies to help startups strengthen their competitiveness in various sectors such as AI, BioTech, FinTech, GreenTech, HealthTech, and Smart City solutions. The programme is currently accepting applications until February 10, 2026, with plans to select 10 promising startups for each cohort.

The programme offers a range of benefits to participants, including SUNeVision Credits worth up to HK$160,000. These credits can be used for various support services from SUNeVision and its partners, establishing a robust digital infrastructure for AI-driven applications in their data centers. Startups will also gain access to a network of over 300 technology players and key stakeholders, enhancing their presence in the Greater Bay Area and Asia-Pacific regions. The programme partners will provide tailored tools, resources, and mentorship to the selected startups:

  • Angelflow: Syndicate technology infrastructure
  • Dataplugs: Internet and managed hosting
  • Finda Cloud: Value-added cloud services
  • Nexusguard: DDoS protection and cybersecurity
  • SUNeVision: Data center colocation and hosting
  • Sustainable SmartTech Ventures: AI-powered smart building management
  • the Hive.: Co-working space
  • Votee AI: Authentic Cantonese translation
  • WeExpand: Agentic AI services

In the previous cohort, notable innovators like DeepTranslate and Sustainable SmartTech Ventures (SSV) stood out. DeepTranslate combined AI technology with human expertise to revolutionize financial translations, benefiting from SUNeVision’s high-speed, low-latency network. On the other hand, SSV leveraged AI to advance building management technologies, using SUNeVision’s data centers to optimize AI models with impressive results, attracting attention from enterprises in the construction sector.

Through initiatives like the Startup Programme, SUNeVision demonstrates its commitment to nurturing local talent and fostering technological innovation in Hong Kong. By creating a supportive environment for visionary ideas, SUNeVision aims to drive tangible impacts on society through technological advancements.
