NVIDIA and CoreWeave have expanded their collaboration to advance the development of AI factories, aiming to establish over 5 gigawatts of AI infrastructure by 2030. This partnership includes a $2 billion investment from NVIDIA into CoreWeave, highlighting confidence in its AI-focused cloud platform and strategic roadmap.

CoreWeave is integrating NVIDIA’s latest CPU, storage platforms, and computing architectures like Rubin, Vera CPUs, and BlueField systems. This strategic move aims to enhance the AI infrastructure and software solutions provided by the alliance, including open-source frameworks and libraries tailored for deep neural network training.

Jensen Huang, the founder and CEO of NVIDIA, emphasized the significance of this collaboration, stating, “AI is advancing into uncharted territory, propelling the most extensive infrastructure expansion in human history. CoreWeave’s proficiency in AI factory operations, platform software, and rapid execution capabilities are well-respected in the industry. Together, we are striving to meet the escalating demand for NVIDIA AI factories, which serve as the cornerstone of the AI industrial revolution.”

Furthermore, CoreWeave’s AI-native software products such as SUNK and Mission Control are undergoing evaluation for seamless integration with NVIDIA’s reference architectures, showcasing a commitment to streamlining AI operations and efficiency.

The collaboration will streamline the acquisition of land, power, and infrastructure necessary for AI factory development, underscoring the growing global demand for AI infrastructure as artificial intelligence gains widespread adoption.
