Park Place Technologies has recently announced an update to its Entuity Software infrastructure monitoring solution. The latest version, 23.0, brings new features aimed at assisting businesses in optimizing their IT operations.
The newest release of Entuity Software, version 23.0, introduces enhancements in various areas such as agent architecture, agent-local OS polling, streaming telemetry, and updated configuration management.
The updated agent architecture of Entuity Software aims to provide improved platform delivery through lightweight, remote polling agents. These agents can be deployed to remote sites, end-customer offices, and home offices, expanding the platform’s coverage while ensuring scalable and secure maintenance from a centralized interface.
Key features of the V23.0 update include Remote Polling Agents, which extend monitoring capabilities to remote and SOHO locations, and Centralized Management, enabling users to monitor applications and implement changes via web-based dashboards.
The update also focuses on enhancing configuration management by allowing users to set scheduled task parameters for improved performance. Local Agent Monitoring enhances security by monitoring within segregated networks without the need to store server credentials.
With the addition of streaming telemetry, Entuity Software now incorporates the Telegraf agent from InfluxData, enabling real-time monitoring for various systems. This feature provides detailed telemetry data feeds from Cisco and other providers integrated within the web interface.
Broader device support ensures comprehensive monitoring of servers, storage, and network devices to meet the evolving needs of modern infrastructures.
David Cramer, President of Solutions Delivery at Park Place Technologies, emphasized how the software empowers organizations to effectively address modern infrastructure monitoring challenges.
Existing Entuity customers can upgrade to V23.0 at no additional cost, while new users have direct access to the latest release. Entuity Software aims to enhance management capabilities, optimize performance, and improve security for organizations dealing with complex infrastructures.
