
Ara Partners Raises Over $800M for Infrastructure Strategy
Ara Partners, an investment firm based in Houston, TX, focusing on decarbonizing the industrial economy, has secured over $800M for its Infrastructure strategy. This includes the debut Fund, Ara Infrastructure Fund I, and associated co-investment vehicles.
The fund attracted support from both existing and new institutional investors, such as pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, and foundations from North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.
Under the leadership of Partners and Co-Heads of Infrastructures Teresa O’Flynn and George Yong, the firm now holds 12 operational assets in North America and Europe. Some of the portfolio companies include Lincoln, a terminal services provider in the Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic U.S., USD Clean Fuels, a developer of renewable fuel feedstock and biofuel logistics infrastructure on the U.S. West Coast, and Natural World Products, an organics recycler in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
