Using a gas metal arc welding additive manufacturing process at Lincoln Electric Additive Solutions, two near-net-shape dies were printed from stainless steel wire. A specialized toolpath strategy was employed to reduce weight while ensuring structural integrity, showcasing the potential of additive manufacturing for high-performance production tooling.
