Doppel, a San Francisco-based company specializing in AI-powered social engineering defense, has recently secured $35 million in Series B funding.
The funding round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with additional contributions from 9Yards Capital, Sozo Ventures, a16z, South Park Commons, Strategic Cyber Ventures, Script Capital, and Sabrina Hahn.
With this new capital injection, Doppel plans to expand its operations and further enhance its development efforts to stay ahead of evolving threats.
Under the leadership of CEO Kevin Tian, Doppel offers a comprehensive platform that provides visibility and takedown capabilities across all attack surfaces, including domains, social media, email, and apps. By effectively combating threats like phishing, impersonation, and disinformation, the platform identifies and dismantles attacker infrastructure, consolidating threat insights in a single grid. Through a combination of advanced LLM technology and expert human analysis, Doppel effectively eliminates blind spots, mitigates digital threats, and safeguards organizations at every level.
Since its deployment, Doppel has significantly boosted the efficiency of its operations team, with upcoming releases anticipated to further accelerate this trend.
