Mimik, Next71, and ASK Holding have come together to establish Mimik UAE in Abu Dhabi, aiming to accelerate the growth of an AI-driven economy in the region. This initiative aligns with Abu Dhabi’s vision to position the UAE as a global leader in AI and technology innovation.
Mimik UAE’s primary goal is to make AI accessible through edge processing, allowing intelligence sharing across various systems. The focus is on transitioning from cloud-first to citizen-first AI, emphasizing privacy, security, and real-time intelligence at the industry edge.
Fay Arjomandi, Mimik’s CEO, envisions an agentic economy where Mimik’s platform offers sovereignty, sustainability, and operational control while promoting business growth. The Device-First Continuum AI empowers devices to reason and act locally, creating dynamic intelligence networks.
The joint venture reinforces Abu Dhabi’s effort to become a hub for physical AI, fostering innovation, talent development, and data sovereignty. Mimik’s technology paves the way for an agentic AI economy, moving towards a distributed autonomous model driven by smart agents.
Earlier collaborations with AMD have enabled Mimik to integrate its Agentix-Native Operating and Execution Environment across AMD platforms, facilitating ubiquitous AI execution for agentic systems.
