Exclusive: Samsung Galaxy S26 European Launch Date Revealed Ahead of Schedule
SHARE

The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S26 series is expected to be available in stores on 11 March, according to sources in Europe. Recent reports suggest that Samsung will be unveiling its flagship smartphones on 25 February, with the launch event likely to take place on that date.

In recent updates, it has been speculated that the Samsung Galaxy S26 series will be officially announced on 25 February, with the launch event scheduled for 7 PM French time, which is 6 PM UK time. The new smartphones are rumored to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chips, offering exceptional performance scores surpassing 11,000 multi-core.

Furthermore, early Geekbench results have revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and S26+ will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, accompanied by 12GB of RAM. The Galaxy S26 Ultra displayed a CPU single-core score of 3466 and a multi-core score of 11035, while the Galaxy S26+ achieved similar scores of 3378 and 11097.

It is worth noting that some regions, such as South Korea, may experience price increases due to the rising costs of RAM modules. However, the US market is expected to remain unaffected by these hikes, as it is a crucial market for Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Release Date

The anticipated release date for the Samsung Galaxy S26 series is March 11th, as indicated by sources in Europe. This aligns with previous Samsung flagship launches, with a typical gap of two weeks between the announcement and retail availability.

Last year’s Samsung Galaxy S25 series followed a similar pattern, with an announcement on January 22nd and release on February 7th, maintaining a 16-day gap. The Samsung Galaxy S24 also had a precise 14-day gap between its unveiling and launch.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Pricing and Availability

Reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S26 series will be available for purchase on March 11th, following the announcement on February 25th. The smartphones are expected to offer top-notch performance with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chips.

In terms of pricing, some regions may experience price hikes due to the increasing costs of RAM modules. South Korea, in particular, is expected to see a price increase ranging from 44,000 won to 88,000 won, depending on the model.

On the other hand, the US market is anticipated to avoid these price hikes, given its significance to Samsung. European pricing details are eagerly awaited, as consumers await news on availability and cost.
