El Paso, Texas-based preventative health care company, Doktorconnect, has recently acquired VitalFlo, a proactive respiratory care technology platform based in Raleigh, NC. The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
This strategic acquisition is part of Doktorconnect’s efforts to broaden its range of health monitoring and care services by incorporating data-driven respiratory care solutions. VitalFlo, founded by Luke Marshall, PhD., offers a comprehensive platform that enables healthcare providers to proactively manage respiratory conditions such as asthma and COPD through tools for in-office spirometry, remote patient monitoring, and clinical decision support.
Under the leadership of Dr. Joseph Olowe, CEO, Doktorconnect is a digital health platform that features FDA and CE-certified IoT devices. By integrating VitalFlo’s technology, the company will now be able to offer preventative respiratory health services as part of its unified solution, which already supports patients and providers with preventive services for cardiovascular, metabolic, endocrine, and musculoskeletal health.
