Hoofprint Biome Secures $15 Million in Series A Funding
Raleigh, NC-based agtech startup, Hoofprint Biome, has recently announced the successful completion of a $15 million Series A funding round.
This funding round was led by SOSV, a prominent venture capital firm, with participation from notable investors such as Amazon’s Climate Pledge Fund, Breakthrough Energy Fellows, Alexandria Venture Investments, AgriZeroNZ, Twynam, Good Growth Capital, and Ponderosa Ventures.
The company plans to utilize the newly raised capital to expand its operations and further enhance its development initiatives.
Hoofprint Biome, spearheaded by CEO Kathryn Polkoff, PHD, and CSO Scott Collins, PHD, specializes in the development of probiotics and natural enzymes designed to enhance cattle health and digestive efficiency while simultaneously reducing methane emissions.
