Riello UPS has recently introduced the latest addition to its modular series, Multi Power2, known as the M2X model. This new model is specifically designed to cater to the needs of smaller data centers and other critical environments, offering protection ranging from 15 kW to 120 kW in a single unit.
The M2X introduces three hot-swappable 2U power modules, including 15 kW IGBT, 15 kW Silicon Carbide, and 30 kW Silicon Carbide. Clients have the option to choose between two different cabinet configurations. The PCS cabinet serves as a standard power unit with integrated input, bypass, manual bypass, and output switches, while the CBC cabinet combines these features with built-in batteries. Both cabinet solutions support N+1 redundancy and flexible combinations of 15 kW and 30 kW modules. Additionally, the cabinets can be paralleled for enhanced scalability, providing a total output of up to 720 kW.
To enhance user experience, the M2X is equipped with a 10-inch color touchscreen display featuring a user-friendly interface for easy navigation. The unit also includes a 1U connectivity panel integrated with a NetMan 208 communications card and other useful slots for efficient UPS monitoring and management.
As part of the Multi Power2 range, which includes options like the MP2 and M2S Scalable, the M2X aims to deliver high efficiency of up to 98.1% in online double conversion mode. This not only reduces running costs but also supports sustainability goals by lowering carbon emissions while ensuring reliable performance.
The M2X and other modules from the Multi Power2 series will be showcased at the upcoming Data Centre World show, part of Tech Show London, scheduled for March 4-5. Riello UPS will be present at stand D90, engaging with attendees and sharing insights into their range of data center solutions.
